We participate in two walks each year.
- Oct. 2, 2016 - Mississippi's Walk for Diabetes benefits the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi (DFM). The walk takes place at Southern Farm Bureau Life in Jackson. Registration is at 1 pm and the walk starts at 2 pm. DFM has been awarded 4 stars by Charity Navigator (the highest possible rating) and provides education, research, and resources to help all Mississippians diagnosed with diabetes and their caregivers. Their Camp Kandu program and Sweet Subjects training programs have both been invaluable to helping us learn to manage and take control over Sarah's condition.
